Big Air and Slopestyle Snowboarder Matty Cox to compete for Britain
Freestyle snowboarder and 2022 Olympian transfers to British team
We are pleased to confirm that 25-year-old Freestyle Snowboarder and 2022 Olympic Winter Games competitor Matty Cox will compete as part of the GB Snowsport team, having completed a nation transfer earlier this year.
Matty, who qualifies to represent Britain through his father’s side of the family, has previously represented Australia on the World Cup circuit and at the last Olympic Winter Games in Beijing.
With three World Cup and one World Championships top-10 finishes already under his belt, Matty represents an exciting new addition to the British Freestyle Snowboard ranks, and a familiar face to the team having forged strong relationships with other members of the British Park & Pipe family over recent years.
