Jack started to alpine ski from the age of 4, lucky enough to go on family holidays once or twice a year. Jack was only introduced to Telemark skiing at the age of 15 by his father, a former telemark instructor in the Royal Marines. From here on, his love and passion for telemark skiing grew and lead him to where he is today.

He took part in his first telemark race at the British indoor series at Hemel Hempstead in 2015. After being spotted here, he was invited to train with the GB team in Austria, where his older brother Ben trained the previous year, which greatly improved his skiing.

Jack spends his winters in Les Houches, Chamonix, training and travelling to as many races as he can. His ambitions for the future are to top 10 in a world cup, and beat his older brother.

Still to this day, Jack’s father still claims that he taught him everything he knows.
