Felix Klein began contemplating a competitive skiing at a very early age when growing up in in Wanaka, New Zealand, with the skifields of Cardrona and Snow Park on his doorstep. He competed in NZ Freestyle Nationals through all age group competitions winning several medals in across all freeskiing disciplines. In 2015, he made his debut in the Brits in Tignes landing medals in half pipe and slopestyle, and has continued his good form in this competition ever since collecting a tally of four medals in 2018 in Laax. Last year he made his World Cup debut at Seiser Alm and also competed in the Junior World Championships in Cardrona.
