Fundraising event for British ski racing this October

This October sees the return of the ‘Bentley Bash’ – a two day classical music event taking place in Lewes, East Sussex which will raise money for British ski racing.

After enjoying huge success in the past, the fundraising event, hosted over two nights, Friday 16th and Saturday 17th October at Bentley House, will see classical music performances, with a snowsports twist, entertain 70 guests over both evenings.

Aimed at raising vital funds for British ski racing, the two evenings will see performances from Gillian and Laszlo Poth on violin and piano, parents of British racer Robert Poth and India Moynihan, sister of British athlete Nick Moynihan singing mezzo soprano. There will also be Paula Boyagis singing mezzo soprano and Georgina Kellen, wife of Snowsport Wales CEO Robin Kellen, singing soprano. The line-up will be completed with performances from Phillipe Ehinger on clarinet and Stefan Holmstrom, bass baritone.

With only 70 tickets available for each evening, the event will be an intimate and entertaining occasion, which will play a big part in helping raise money for British alpine ski racers. As well as being entertained by talented classical performers, guests will also enjoy a buffet dinner.

To book tickets, email Ingrid@bentleyfarm.org.uk. Tickets cost £80, which includes a champagne reception, dinner and all entertainment. The Friday night performance begins at 6.30pm and the Saturday performance at 6pm.
