Seb started skiing aged three on a family holiday to Stoos, Switzerland, however it was not until he was 13 that  his potential as a ski cross athlete was noticed. Through training and racing on indoor slopes in the UK, as well as camps with BSA, GBX, Kandahar and The Cross Collective, Seb became English Indoor Ski Cross Champion in 2017. Boosted by his success, Seb entered his first FIS ski cross race at Villars in 2018 and went on to race across Europe, with continuous and significant improvement in results. The pinnacle of his season was being crowned Under 18 British Ski Cross Champion and runner-up in the Men’s Open category.

Building on a promising first season in ski cross, the 2018/19 season has seen Seb’s progression continue with a top ten finish in an Australia-New Zealand Cup race in Falls Creek, Australia and representing Great Britain at the Junior World Championships in New Zealand where he finished 12th.

As he works towards his BASI Level 2 and completing his A levels, Seb will continue to race at Europa Cup level after which he intends to become a full-time racer to see how far he can push his ski cross career.

He also enjoys all things ‘adrenaline-driven’ including whitewater kayaking, for which he holds several coaching certificates, as well as mountain biking from which he carries a few scars!
