Ollie Davies discovered his love for skiing on annual family holidays to France. At the age of 8, his family relocated to the French Alps, where a holiday hobby quickly became a passion. He joined the local ski club, Montchavin Les Coches, and began alpine racing.
For several years, Ollie competed throughout the Tarentaise region and at the French National Championships. At 14, he began racing at the British Championships and was selected for the British Alpine Squad.
Ollie later transitioned to ski cross, where his technical ability and determination helped him rise quickly through the ranks, earning recognition on the international stage. In 2019, he became Junior World Champion in New Zealand.
That same drive led him to make history in 2021 as the first British skier to reach the Big Final at the Ski Cross World Championships, where he finished 4th. In 2022, Ollie fulfilled a lifelong dream by competing in his first Olympic Games. He made history once again in 2023 by securing his first World Cup podium, finishing 2nd in Reiteralm—further cementing his place among the world’s top ski cross athletes.
