The day she saw mogul skiers for the first time was the day she decided that that was what she was going to be. She is and always has been totally passionate about her chosen sport. However, her journey has not been an easy one - Leonie has endured two knee operations, but has worked tirelessly without ever losing focus to ensure she came back stronger than ever. Her excellent results led her to being selected for the World Championships 2017 in Sierra Nevada where, unfortunately, she fell in training and dislocated her shoulder.
